Hustings took place across the Bristol region in the run up to last year's elections...
CARE has launched a report today highlighting the amazing role played by churches that registered hustings with CARE at the 2010 General Election.  Almost 40,000 people across the UK – both Christian and non-Christian – attended a church-run hustings in the run-up to the 2010 General Election.
Nola Leach, CARE's Chief Executive, commented, ‘"The findings of this report are tremendously encouraging and show that churches and Christians have a vital role to play at election time.  We hope this report will inspire people to make a Christian difference again and take up the challenge of running a hustings in the lead up to the 5th May Elections.'

Please take the time to look at the guides and consider whether your church could be active in this way.  If you are not in Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales, but know someone else who might benefit from this resource, please do pass this information on to them!

If you have a church hustings, please let us know and we will put the details on our hustings locator on our new website:
