HELP TO SAVE ASYLUM & IMMIGRATION ADVISORY SERVICE BRISTOL OFFICE

Dear Supporters of Bristol City of Sanctuary,

Please find on the link below a) press release from former IAS staff, & b) a
draft letter to MPs & to the Legal Services Commission. This letter has been
drafted in consultation with the staff, who are putting all their efforts
into setting up a new service which can continue to meet the need in Bristol.
Without this it is inevitable that we will see people refused the safety they
need due to lack of advice & representation – these services save lives!

Please could everyone use / amend this draft, as you wish, to

1. Write to your MP (go to http://www.theyworkforyou to find yours if you
don’t know)
2. Copy the letter to the Legal Services Commission & other emails at the end
of the letter
3. Let us know when you’ve written, so we can keep track & so the ex-IAS
staff can use the numbers of people who’ve written to demonstrate support.
