Breaking News: Positive results on abortion and euthanasia from the BMA

christian concern Today the British Medical Association voted on two important motions (among others):
  • A motion was passed supporting the provision of independent counselling for women considering an abortion, separate from the abortion providers themselves. This is a great result ahead of the Government's consultation on the issue.

  • A motion which would have changed the BMA position on assisted suicide from ‘against’ to ‘neutral’ was not passed. This was an attempt to neutralise medical opposition to assisted suicide but has thankfully failed.
Thank you for all of your prayers and continued support.
