GATHERING, GROWING and GOING...releasing disciples who are passionate to see His Kingdom impact all business and working-life in the Bristol region
To build relationships
We gather Christian leaders of Business and Workplace projects and from the business world across the region - currently once a quarter over breakfast - to build friendship, exchange news, pray, and develop a better overview of how each niche initiative and project fits together into Father’s Big Picture for the city.
We gather Christians at a variety of events, for example the Lovework conference, to envision them with how their work lives can be transformed and bring transformation to business and the workplace.
To learn from God and
We pray together - currently monthly - for business and work life across the city, and for one another. We were also involved at an All-Night Prayer Vigil.
We aim to spur one another on to more radical discipleship, and to learn to share resources; such as LICC's Fruitfulness on the Frontline, and other day-to-day contacts, plant & equipment, and more, plus opportunities, dreams, and practical projects together.
We have been involved in city-wide gatherings, such as Going Deeper which explored business and workplace issues in greater depth. We raise awareness of this sphere, for example, through the Bristol Networks website.
To act together and as individuals
As a result of growing relationships, the Christian business community can take strategic action together, for example to encourage social enterprise or to increase involvement in social action, such as Sixty One, helping ex-offenders, and to create and promote wholesome, sustainable, employment and workplace practice, across the city.
We are also sent out as individuals, to help impact every form of business and work life across the city-region for the benefit of all, for example, through Christian Workplace Groups. At the Arise Bristol Ashton Gate stadium gathering we prayed for and released Christians to help bring transformation to business and workplace in the Bristol region.
