I am excited to update you on the launch of the One25 Health Hub.

You may be aware of the fundraising challenges we’ve faced and the steps we’ve taken in an extremely challenging climate. In the spring we were making difficult decisions about services and this included considering the future of our healthcare provision.

We are very pleased to have partnered with BrisDoc to ensure One25 can continue delivering healthcare services for women. BrisDoc’s generosity has enabled a new role, the Care Coordinator, to support women to access our centre for healthcare provision and other essentials.

"It's the best healthcare I've ever had, from people who not only care, but don't condemn"
- Lizzy

The Health Hub opened its doors on 5th June. Three days a week women can meet with healthcare professionals including a specialist nurse, sexual health nurse, prescribing nurse and a GP. We've seen 37 women use the service over 100 times and that number is growing.

Women can also meet our specialist caseworkers and pick up essentials such as sanitary products, condoms and alarms. We also provide hot drinks, clothing and takeaway food bags.

“…it’s not right that those who most need healthcare have the least access to it”
- Dr Lucy

This provision is vital for women who may otherwise go without healthcare or feel unsafe in traditional medical settings due to trauma. The Health Hub is a safe, non-judgemental space where women can get the flexible, sensitive support they need.

We are also extremely grateful to our volunteers who help to run the space - we would not be able to do this without their generosity.
Thank you for your continued support,
