The Season is changing...
Over the summer, we’ve been delighted to support many community events across Bristol with our equipment and resources. Helping to create outdoor spaces where neighbours can connect and celebrate together has been a real joy.
Now, as the weather shifts and attention turns indoors, we’re seeing new opportunities for churches to develop their community spaces. In just the past few weeks, we’ve been giving support and advice to churches exploring how their buildings, volunteers, and resources can better serve their local neighbourhoods. There are so many creative possibilities. Our website offers some ideas to get you started, and you might also find inspiration in the Bristol Thriving Communities report by Good Faith Partnership.
We’re also keen to encourage churches to make the most of the excellent training and support available through Voscur, Bristol’s support and development agency for the Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise sector. Networking with other community organisations across the city can open doors to fresh collaborations and impact.
If you’d like to explore how you and your church could get more involved in this kind of work, please get in touch—we’d love to connect you with opportunities and resources local to you.
