We are living at a threshold movement where we leave the known context and transition into an unknown, uncharted missional journey. With a growing “quiet revival” happening alongside the rise of Christian nationalism and high levels of poverty in our nation, God is clearly doing a new thing!
This is a threshold point - this is a pivotal moment in history where we are shifting from the old to the new. Our ways of leading need to adapt and change to be ready for this incredible new thing God is doing.

In addition to church unity leaders, we will be joined by leaders from Kick, acet UK and YoYo Trust.

The two-child limit is pushing families to food banks.
The UK government must fully remove the two-child limit, which restricts support from our social security system to two children.
Almost a third of food bank parcels go to families with three or more children. Families like Michaela’s, who had no option but to go to a food bank with her three young daughters after her relationship broke down |

Removing the limit in full is the most effective way to protect children and would lift 470,000 children out of severe hardship.
Rachel Reeves is making the final touches to next month’s Autumn Budget right now. She needs to hear calls from MPs to do the right thing. We gain nothing from pushing the next generation towards food banks before they’re even old enough for school.
Ask your MP to write to the Chancellor to fully remove the two-child limit before it’s too late.

2026 National ICCT Gathering
At Gather Movement, we believe in the power of relational unity to bring whole city transformation. That’s why we are delighted to be partnering with the Intercultural Church and City Transformation (ICCT) Gathering as they prepare for their next national event in Manchester, 5–6 February 2026 at GoChurch MediaCityUK.
Following on from Leeds (2024) and London (2025), the Manchester Gathering will bring together networks, churches, and leaders who are passionate about seeing the Church reflect the cultural diversity of our towns, cities, and communities. Together we will explore what it means for unity and cultural diversity to strengthen mission, discipleship, and community renewal.
