One question I have seeking God about, is why are some of our members who have attended this course not seeing transformation in their working lives?
 
One thing God showed me was that some attend, absorb, but do not….
 
Karen Kircher, one of our teachers always asks:

• What are you going to stop doing?
• What are you going to continue doing?
• What are you going to start doing?

The do not that God showed me, was to meditate and process all that was taught and shared.
 
This biblical principle, meditation, comes from Joshua
There we read in Joshua 1v8 in the AMPC
This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.
 
Meditation leads to our being observant and obedient, which leads to success and prosperity, or as Stephen Gunning says, ‘our fruitfulness’.
 
So, what is biblical or true meditation?
 
The ancient meaning of the Hebrew word we translate as meditation means “A murmuring or soft speech while in a continual contemplation over something.”
This means that what we learn we should talk about and think about. The murmuring or soft speech means we talk to ourselves about all we have heard, read and learnt.
 
And the reason we meditate on the Transformed Working Life course is that it is based on God’s word not on our experiences of what we have gone through in our places of work.
 
So, I encourage all of you, especially those of you who are not seeing success and fruit in your businesses and places of work, to join us and then meditate on all you hear and read.
