Your Christians in Media (CiM) Newsletter is here! (January)

A very Happy New Year to our wonderful Christians in Media network.

Each month, we bring you five faith-filled resources, events or organisations that we think are worth knowing about. Our aim is to highlight the people and projects shaping conversations around faith, media and culture – often in places you might not expect.

We hope you find something here that encourages, inspires or simply helps you feel a little more connected to the wider body of Christ.

Here’s what we’re loving this month:
Re-Enchanting Podcast – Seen & Unseen

Hosted by Justin Brierley and Belle Tindall, Seen & Unseen’s Re-Enchanting podcast offers beautifully crafted conversations that explore how Christianity can re-enchant culture, politics, the arts, the sciences, history and so much more. It’s a rich resource for Christians in media seeking to tell more hopeful and human stories. Listen here.
aStepFWD Awards – 2025 Roundup

The 2025 aStepFWD Awards celebrated a vibrant year in UK Christian music, highlighting the best Gospel artists and genres. Follow aStepFWD on instagram.
Communicating Faith in Public

This new course, run by LICC, is starting in March. Bishop Graham Tomlin has recently joined LICC and is helping run a six-month course that will train young adults to write and speak compellingly about Christianity in the public square. Find out more here.
Tommy Robinson Supporters Attending Church - BBC

This BBC piece explores the complex reasons some Tommy Robinson supporters have begun attending church, touching on identity, belonging and the role of the local church in polarised times. We offer it here without commentary, simply as a window into how faith, politics and the media intersect. Read more.
Theos – Reading Our Times

Theos’ podcast interviews thought leaders about Christianity and faith in the world today. A great listen for anyone in media wanting depth, clarity and grounded analysis at the start of a new year. Listen here.
We pray this newsletter inspires you to discover new voices and feel part of the wider body of Christ at work in media and culture.
