Renewed Blessings & Christmas Hope
Longstanding and much-loved TEN partners, Tedi and Didi Oprenovi, lead First Baptist Church of Sofia in Bulgaria, which also operates as the Renewal Centre, renting space to businesses to sustain the church's ministry. They recently shared an update which gave us much to celebrate:

Last year, we had a celebration to mark the tenth anniversary of when the Renewal Centre was dedicated. At a Sunday service, we remembered God’s mercy and love, and the wonderful supporters and partners who helped us build this significant building.

The Centre is now becoming well known, and we see a good number of regular clients who rent the facilities for their events. The year has been stable, and the companies that rent offices had a good and stable business year. We pray for the rest of the offices, that we can rent them out and find tenants in the near future.
A significant part of our Christmas evangelism was our Sofia Handbell Choir concerts, led by Ami Oprenova-Stavrou. One was held in the Mall of Bulgaria, another at the switching on of the Christmas lights at Triaditsa, a big Sofia municipality, another at the Campus Crusade for Christ’s Students, and finally, at a gala concert that filled the large hall of the Renewal Centre, where Didi shared the gospel.

A wonderful year has passed. We bought our church building and renovated it. Many people in Radovis heard the gospel, and we are just left speechless by what God is doing here. We are very grateful to you. You support us with finances and prayers. Without you, we cannot achieve what we’ve been doing in Radovis.

We always have a wonderful time when we evangelise in the city centre. A good tool is to offer coffee and tea while we talk to people and invite them to church. Recently, eight people came to church, heard the gospel, took Christian literature. It’s a wonderful feeling to see people happy.

Pray especially for the miners we have shared the gospel with time and again. Some of them come to the service on Sunday. Sometimes, they listen to the gospel. How much I want their entire families to come to know the Saviour.

Thank you so much for your support. We hope you have been encouraged and spurred on by what you have read. God bless you in the year ahead.

The TEN team.
