Seeing God's kingdom grow through Christians working in all aspects of the Media in the Bristol region.

Together4Bristol (T4B) is a “unity for mission movement”, a “network of networks” rather than an organisation, with the following vision, mission and objectives in the Media sphere. Here you can keep in touch with what is going on and see highlights of the Media sphere in the Bristol region. For current news, articles, calendar, and more of what is happening, see Bristol Networks website.

To see God's kingdom grow through Christians working in all aspects of the Media in the Bristol region.

To build relationships

and unity

We gather to support Christians working in the Media in all its forms within the Bristol region and provide networking and prayer support.

We build relationships, exchange news, and get a better overview. We gather Christians at a variety of events, small and large.

For example, we have hadseveral combined MediaNet/Media sphere gatherings in Bristol. We have been involved with the city-wide Party in the Park.

To learn from God and

each other

We want to enable Christians working in the Media to be the best they can be, and to reach their full potential including being honouring to God in their work. We pray together for one another and for every aspect of the media across the city, such as at an All Night Prayer Vigil.

We have been involved in city-wide gatherings, such as Going Deeper which explored Media issues in greater depth. We raise awareness of this sphere, for example, through the Bristol Networks website.

To act together and as individuals

We want to enrich the Media in the Bristol region and, through this, the lives of the whole population, by seeking to bring a Godly perspective on life and society in all its parts.

As a result of growing relationships, the Christian community can take strategic action together, for example, to get more good news stories into the media.

We are also sent out as individuals. At the Arise Bristol! Ashton Gate stadium gathering we released Christians in the Media to help transform our city-region.

A few highlights of the Media sphere in the Bristol region

The various individuals and networks in the Media sphere work week-in and week-out, together and individually, to help bring transformation to the Bristol region. MediaNet, a national network, with which we connect, has been gathering for many years.

Informal gatherings of Christians involved in this sphere started in about 2010, as one of five spheres of life which were part of “Forum for Change”. They met twice a year, including for a great Christmas dinner!

Since then there have been:

  • Three city wide “Arise!” and “Together for Bristol” gatherings of thousands of people, at Pentecost (at Ashton Gate 2012, Castle Park 2013 and College Green 2014) with representatives from the Arts sphere involved. For example, at Ashton Gate there was Repentance, and Declarations were made, to work together more for the good of Bristol.

  • A city wide Going Deeper conference at the Colston Hall (2013), included stands and a Media seminar.

  • Since November 2014, twice-yearly Together4Bristol gatherings, involving representatives from this sphere, including to write A Big Vision for a Good Bristol in November 2015.

  • Several combined MediaNet/Media sphere gatherings and small dinners in Bristol, including for prayer.

  • From 2017, “Together4Bristol” has a website, including this page to help people connect with the Media sphere.

Associated networks

Together4Bristol is a “unity for mission movement”, a “network of networks” rather than an organisation. The following Christian networks are some of those involved in the Media sphere. Christians from several organisations such as the BBC or The Post are also involved.
